In personal finance, instead of setting a goal and backing into, create efficiency. Backward is never an efficient route if you're trying to move forward. Backwards works great for baseball hats though.
This is someone’s reality. Just because it may not be yours, doesnt make it less important.
If your children don't learn with children with special needs at school, have never seen how some children struggle with the same tasks that come easy to most, and have never been taught that not everyone is equal because God made us that way - maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight to explain it to them, because although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure. And what a blessing that day could be.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird , they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
The gifts within these children are there. They will be different than the gifts beatowed on peers and may take time to discover, but they are there. Please have patience and kindness to look. Do not assume these kids are guilty of being less able because their physical ability might be less than ideal. They have been given a gift you cannot see.
Please teach your children to be kind to EVERY beautiful child regardless of ability.
Everyone needs love and kindness ❤️
Since contributions and earnings in a Roth grow tax-free, converting your tax-deferred IRA to a Roth may make sense for you.
You will pay tax on the total amount of contributions and earnings in the year that the conversion takes place. However, if you’re considering making a substantial charitable donation, the tax savings the donation creates may offset the taxes your conversion creates, and it could be more beneficial in the long run.
Always talk to your CPA about your specific tax issues.
